Clinton I. Knaggs, Senior Airspace Analyst
Mr. Knaggs is a Senior Aviation Consultant with Williams Aviation who is an expert in the design of airspace and related flight procedures and the evaluation of proposed construction projects that require a Safety Analysis. He uses Williams Aviation-developed procedures to determine whether a project’s location, height, and purpose are compatible with aviation operations in and around airports and/or landing facilities. His analysis is supported by factual data and is based on existing Federal airspace protection criteria, local restrictions, and ALUC policies for the specific jurisdiction.
Mr. Knaggs graduated from the University of Phoenix and worked with Williams Aviation while completing his bachelor’s degree. He began his career with Williams in 2006 and has been a Senior Aviation Consultant for the past fifteen years. Mr. Knaggs has worked on multiple projects including the Northern and Southern California Airspace Realignment project assessing the impacts of changed flight and air traffic control routes and procedures on underlying communities. Clients include attorneys, cities, citizen’s groups, and municipalities representing, for example, Palos Verdes, Culver City, Englewood, San Jose, Las Vegas, San Diego, Tempe, and Phoenix.
