FAA Form 7460 Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration
FAA Notice of Preliminary Findings
Receiving a Notice of Preliminary Findings does not necessarily mean your proposal will impact Airspace. Williams Aviation will analyze the potential impacts and determine if the FAA concerns have validity.
FAA Form 7460-1 - Notice of Proposed Constructions or Alteration
Notice to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) may be required for a new structure, altered structure, or an existing structure based in part on FAA requirements and shall be reported on FAA Form 7460-1 (Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration).
FAA Further Study, Public Notice, and Circularized Cases
Circularization in the aeronautical study process occurs after the sponsor of a proposed structure files Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Form 7460-1, Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration, when it is shown that the structure would exceed obstruction standards, require a change in an aeronautical operation or procedure or have an effect on an airport or VFR air traffic.
FAA Form 7460-2 Part 1 and 2
FAA Form 7460-2 Part 1 is required at least 10 days prior to the start of construction.
FAA Form 7460-2 Part 2 is required within 5 days after the construction reaches its greatest height.

FAA Notice Criteria / Reporting Requirements
Reporting to the FAA via Form 7460-1 is based on a number of factors including the ground elevation, proposed height, distance from a protected airport/heliport, and omitting frequency of a structure.
